Fry these or Bake them - your choice!

INGREDIENTS:

                2 teaspoons soy sauce

1/2 teaspoon minced garlic from purchased jar or
               fresh

            1/2 teaspoon oriental sesame oil

            1/2  teaspoon peanut butter

1 (14-ounce) can chow mein mixed vegetables,
                 rinsed & drained very well

            24 square wonton wrappers

1/2 cup olive oil - if going to pan fry these

            Toasted white sesame seeds

For dipping: soy sauce, sweet and sour sauce,
and Chinese-style mustard

DIRECTIONS:

  1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. if baking instead of
frying

  2) Blend first 4 ingredients in a food processor.

  3) Add vegetables. Using on/off turns, pulse until vegetables are just minced.

 4) Drain excess liquid from vegetable mixture.

 5) Arrange wonton wrappers on work surface. Lightly brush edges of wrappers with water.

 6) Spoon 1 teaspoon vegetable mixture into center of each wrapper. Fold in half diagonally, pressing to enclose filling completely. Be sure they are sealed.

 7) Heat oil in heavy large skillet over medium heat. Working in batches, fry dumplings until just golden, about 1 minute per side.

OR

Bake until dumplings are golden brown, on a cookie sheet about 10 minutes in a 350 degree oven.

 9) Transfer dumplings to serving tray. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds. Serve with dipping sauce.
