LIME JUICE MARINADE
Recipe courtesy of HollysHints.com
Use on Cornish hens, chicken, or turkey

1/3 Cup lime juice
1/4 Cup low-sodium soy sauce
1 Tablespoon Chinese dark sesame oil
Dash of ground black pepper
2 green onions finely chopped (or 1/2 teaspoon onion flakes)

Combine ingredients, stir thoroughly
.  Put 1/4 of it aside to baste meat with as it grills.

Marinade meat in it for 30 to 60 minutes.  TOSS this marinade after you take the meat out.

If you are doing Cornish hens - stuff them with celery and onions after you take them out of the marinade and before you put them on the grill.

Start brushing this marinade on your meat about 5 minutes after it is on the grill.  Repeat brushing it on every 10  minutes until the meat is done.

Take the meat off the grill - enjoy!

IMPORTANT CAUTIONS:
- Do not store this marinade- toss it
because it will be contaminated with raw meat bacteria that can cause
food 'poisoning'.

Make a new batch as needed.

HINT If you want some sauce at the table - Make some in a separate container to heat & ladle over the meat
as it is served.
