Holly's Crock Pot Pork Loin
Recipe courtesy of HollysHints.com
I have used crock pot liners - you can find them
in the foil section of grocery store
– yes they work.

This can be done in one day
                       or prep the night before.

INGREDIENTS:

         1 – 2 ½ lbs. Pork loin, boneless, cut into 1” steaks

1 large Onion cut in 1” chunks

        3 cloves garlic, chopped up

1 ½ cups of red wine

        2 T  balsamic vinegar

        1 can chicken broth

        ½ t cinnamon

        2 bay leaves

DIRECTIONS:

1) place the ‘steaks’ in the crock pot like a
     loaf of bread

 2) add the onion & garlic

 3) pour in the wine & balsamic vinegar

 4) At this point you could put this in the
     refrigerator until morning

 5) Then mix the cinnamon & bay leaves into
the chicken broth and add that to rest of the
     ingredients in the crock pot.

 6) Turn the crock pot on high for 30 minutes

 7) Then turn to low

 8) If need to get to work – put it on low & leave.

This takes about 8-9 hours to cook on low.

Holly's Hints:   Great for leftovers – or freeze what’s left
                     to eat another day.
